Richard Wing is a retired English teacher having taught at the US Air Force Academy Preparatory School and two public high schools in Colorado Springs, CO. He is a 1976 graduate of the University of Maine, Farmington, and holds an MBA from Western New England University. He has also taught English methods courses in an Alternative Licensing Program in Colorado for older students wanting to enter teaching as a second career. Being retired, Rick spends much of his time substituting at Foxcroft Academy claiming he wasn’t t ready to stop working with teens. As an avid writer and poet, he continues to write locally and maintains a blog of his own work.
